In accordance with Cabinet Decision #14/00 approval has been given to the grant of a waiver of 10% customs duty (CET) applicable to musical instuments of Chapter 92 of the Customs and Tariff Amendment Resolution 1999. Further, approval has also been granted for a waiver of the GCT on musical instruments listed under the same Chapter to be exempted from GCT. Please note that the item #9206.001/9206.009 - Steel Band instruments are not included in the waivers. These provisions will remain in effect until the required amendments to the legislation.
