Scholarships

The Scholarships and Assistance Unit, Public Service Establishment Division, manages the GOJ Civil Service Training  Programme and acts as Point of Contact for the various donor Agencies and Countries offering technical assistance to the Government under bilateral and multilateral agreements. In this regard, this office is responsible for disseminating information on training and study opportunities as they become available. For all the courses, unless otherwise stated, application forms are available at this office.


 

The University of Malta is offering full scholarships for post graduate courses focusing on climate change, commencing in October 2018. Full information about the call can be found here: https://www.um.edu.mt/newspoint/noticeboard/opportunities/2018/05/scholarshipsinclimateaction/_nocache


The scholarships are open for nationals, and current residents, of one of the countries indicated in the list available on the UNFCCC website.

One of the scholarships is hosted at the Islands and Small States Institute (ISSI), promoting research focusing on the impacts of, and responses to, climate change in small island states and territories. The MA in Islands and Small States Studies is mostly by research, and can also include tuition by distance. 

The deadline for the application is the May 25th, 2018.

The Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE) of the Executive  Secretariat  for  Integral  Development presents  its  compliments to  the  Permanent Missions to the Organization of American States and has the honor to inform that through the OAS Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC), and Soluciones   Integrales  de Formacion  y  Gestion  (STRUCTURALIA),   it is offering scholarships for online master programs in areas of engineering, energy and infrastructure.

The programs will be taught in Spanish starting on May 10, 2018, with a length of 1 or two years, depending on the study program.
