Fiscal Commissioner

Applications are invited for the post of Fiscal Commissioner.

The Fiscal Commissioner as head of the Independent Fiscal Commission has the duty to ensure the institution carries out the functions conferred on it by statutes. This position plays a strategically important role in monitoring and reporting on government economic and fiscal policy matters.

Challenges with the Production of the Report

The Commission has completed public hearings, reviewed thousands of pages of transcripts and submissions, heard evidence from several stakeholders, as well as completed drafts of some sections of the report.

The Commission has been inactive since 2019 when the existing Commissioners resigned.
