JaCSA Service Excellence Digital Conference 2021: You, Me, We Got the Power of Service Excellence

The Jamaica Customer Service Association in collaboration with The Office of the Cabinet (OoC) – Public Sector Transformation & Modernization Division (PSTMD) presents our 2-Day Virtual Conference on Service Excellence.

The Vision for the Service Excellence Conference is Mobilizing the Transformative Power of Service Excellence Integrating People and Technology Across Jamaica and the World.

Customer Service Week / October 4 – 8 This event is a part of the National Customer Service Week (CSW), which is celebrated annually during the first week of October. This year, our week of activities will be celebrated on October 3-8, 2021, under the theme: “You…Me…We Got the Power of Service Excellence!”.

TEMPORARY RELIEF FROM CUSTOMS DUTY AND GENERAL CONSUMPTION TAX ON GOODS IMPORTED FOR BERYL RELIEF AND REHABILITATION

Arising from activation of the Disaster Risk Management Act and the impact of Hurricane Beryl on Jamaica, the Minister of Finance and the Public Service granted approval for goods, which the Commissioner of Customs is satisfied are being imported for relief and rehabilitation, to be relieved of import duty and general consumption tax (GCT), in accordance with item 30B of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff and section 47 of the GCT Act, over the period July 4, 2024 through August 23, 2024.
